About
Alex has been a Project Manager for WIPAHS since September 2023. He recently completed his PhD at Swansea University and, following a short-term position as a Tutor in the Department of Sport and Exercise Sciences, is now a Research Officer as part of the Health Services Research team in Swansea University Medical School. His research to date has focused on the application of wearable technologies in physical activity and exercise, with a particular emphasis on data analytics and artificial intelligence (AI), including machine learning.
Outside of work, Alex enjoys playing drums and staying active in his garage gym, while dedicating as much time as possible to his wife, three children, and two dogs.
