Dr Chris Marley is a senior lecturer in exercise physiology at the University of South Wales. He is a member of the Neurovascular Research Laboratory, Physiological Society and the American College of Sports Medicine. His research focuses on factors that influence brain health, with a particular interest in ageing, exercise, diet and head impacts in sport.
Chris has previously held positions at the University of South Wales as the (interim) head of subject for sport, at Swansea University as the older people and ageing research network stroke research coordinator and at Cardiff University, where he facilitated physical activity and exercise interventions in patients diagnosed with Huntington’s Disease.
Chris is the Welsh Institute for Physical Activity, Health and Sport Higher Education Institution Lead for the University of South Wales.
